Yves Veggie Cuisine Plant Based Falafel Balls
There are so many things I would like to share and instead of grouping them all in one post, we will only feature our weekly favorite each week. This week is our first "Weekly Favorite" and features a food item that really stood out this week.
I found these plant-based falafel balls at my local grocery store. It was perfect timing as I have been craving a falafel sandwich for over a week. When I saw them in the products section, I decided to make my own. I took a few other ingredients I needed to make the type of falafel sandwich / wrap that I like.
Below is the Falafel Wrap I built at home using Yves Falafel Ballls. I used a smaller wrapper that can hold 4 falafel balls. There were 12 balls in the pack, so he made 3 rounds.

Onion
Chopped vegetables (from a pre-washed salad bowl)
sliced beets
tahini sauce
Spicy sauce
Hummus
casings
It was quick and easy to do. I spread the hummus on the parchment paper, I added the falafel balls after blanching them in the toaster for about 14 minutes, I added the chopped vegetables, onions and beets. Then sprinkle the tahini and hot sauce on top and wrap.
It was so delicious! I ate one every day for 3 days until I ran out of falafel balls. I still crave this wrap so I will definitely come back and buy more.
